The Student Transportation Aligned for Return To School (STARTS) Task Force has released a report that provides school districts with a comprehensive planning tool that allows them to evaluate the district’s educational schedule, route schedule and local geography, as it permits to each individual transportation reopening plan.

Three national school bus associations, as well as the three primary school bus original equipment manufacturers, came together to produce the report. The task force formed in May to help answer questions and provide direction regarding school startup amid COVID-19.

The below report provides core guidelines and tasks to assist with transporting students, and provides additional guidance for transporting students with disabilities.
